Our Naschmarkt Nature apartment is a lovingly renovated unit with original vaulted ceilings in a building that’s over 200 years old. But of course, you won’t have to do without any of today’s modern amenities. The apartment is located on the ground floor, yet it’s still bright and inviting. This keeps the apartment wonderfully cool in the summer. Access is via the building’s inner courtyard.

The apartment consists of an entryway, a quiet bedroom facing the courtyard, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet, as well as a spacious kitchen-living room. Here, there is a sleeping alcove with a double bed, separated from the rest of the room by a curtain that blocks both light and views. In addition, the apartment features a cozy terrace in the building’s inner courtyard, which is separated by a raised garden bed where delicious vegetables grow in the summer.

The beds in the bedroom and in the sleeping alcove are each 160 x 200 cm. There are also plenty of places to store clothes and luggage. Four people can comfortably stay in the Naschmarkt nature apartment. If needed, a fifth person (child) can sleep on the couch in the living room. However, it is not a pull-out sofa; the sleeping surface measures 180 x 80 cm.

The apartment’s living room features a cozy sofa and a dining table. The modern kitchenette is fully equipped with everything you need: an induction cooktop (two burners), an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a kettle, a French press for coffee, and plenty of cookware, tableware, and kitchen utensils.

The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower and a sink. If you’d like to do laundry, there’s a laundry room in the building that’s shared with two other apartments. There you’ll find a washing machine and a dryer that you’re welcome to use. The separate toilet has a small sink and a mirror.

LOCATION

The apartment building is centrally located at Franzensgasse, a small alley with lots of houses from the „Biedermeier“ era in the inner district of „Margareten“. Just around the corner you can find Viennas most beautiful market the „Naschmarkt“ where you can find a lot of Vienna’s food specialities, cafés, bars and restaurants.

Within 10 to 15 minutes walking distance lies the historic center of Vienna, the 1st district or „Innere Stadt“, where a lot of Viennas famous attractions such as St. Charles Cathedral, the imperial castle, the state opera or the spanish riding school can be found. If that is too far, you can walk just a few minutes to the subway station „Kettenbrückengasse“ (line U4) and the next stop „Karlsplatz“ is already in the center of Vienna.

You can also reach Viennas famous shopping street, the Mariahilfer Straße on foot. It is only about 10 minutes away, as is the Museumsquartier, a courtyard full of Museums, which lies at the beginning of Mariahilfer Straße.

If you have enough of the historic center, how about a visit to Schönbrunn castle? It is only 10 to 15 minutes away if you take the subway line U4. It is well worth a visit.
